Hey, welcome, glad you’re here! We are Crest and Peak; a family oriented adventure community.
Crest and Peak is a community for campers, wake boarders, surfers, snowboarders, hikers, day trippers, and get through the day-ers (because parenting is tough). We have traveled the West Coast with dogs and toddler in tow. We are always pushing the limits of ourselves and our family. This is a community that puts family first and reminds you that having kids shouldn’t slow you down.
Since becoming parents, we have become more aware of the beauty in what once seemed mundane, excitement in the smallest of creatures and pure joy in being seen and heard. We believe that being outside together as a family changes you, it reminds you of what’s important…. Who you surround yourself with, what you do with your time, and what holds your attention.
So we started this community to support your family through the ups and downs of life. We have seen the roller coaster impact our lives and we will be forever grateful for the love of other families/parents/friends who have stepped in beside us.
We have always heard the term: “it takes a village.” Let Crest and Peak be part of your village. Let us show you kid-friendly tips and destinations. Let us show you a small peek into how our village has shown up in our lives. Let Crest and Peak be your go-to resource for saying yes to adventures; big and small.
We have yet to find a kid who isn’t up for a fun adventure, I think that it is often the adults that shy away from pushing boundaries. I can admit, I have the desire to run and hide when I am faced with new things. But, life has a funny way of showing you someone who sees challenges and jumps in the deep end… enter my husband, Austin…. Austin is a daredevil, adventure seeker, and the best companion. He pushes me to be uncomfortable and have a little faith. Life is funny because when you just start to feel adventurous, you get a kid who is more wild than her dad…. I guess this means cheers to a lifetime of adventure seeking for an anxious introvert. And maybe you are like me, adventure scares you…. Join us, please, this is exactly where you are meant to be…. You found us for a reason…. And maybe you are like Austin or our daughter, join us… you keep us moving forward and challenge us.
When you become part of Crest and Peak, you jump into the adventure with us. Let’s show our kids the crest of ocean waves to the mountain peaks. Let’s teach them to do hard things. Let’s play in the snow, sand, and dirt. Let’s set up campsites. Let’s strap into boards. Let’s tell campfire stories. Let’s watch the sunsets. Heck, let’s watch a sunrise (that our kids didn’t wake us up for). Let’s step into the world of make-believe and build a future we can’t wait to share with others. But most of all, let’s put down our phones and BE PRESENT. What we are really trying to say is… don’t stop adventuring when you have kids…. BRING THE KIDS.
